Why?

My two favorite words, at present, are curation, and aggregation. This site is about both, albeit on a very small scale. This is where I’ll be keeping track of projects, whether currently underway, in the planning stages, or completed; projects for clients, and those for myself. From photography to identity design … Macintosh consulting to social media marketing … I’m working in a wide variety of areas, in an array of disciplines. I need to keep notes, otherwise, I’m lost.

Not having a conventional job can be a wonderful thing, but it isn’t without its challenges. Flexibility and freedom are often cited as big advantages of being your own boss … but there are many challenges and a whole lot of stress. Staying organized is one key stumbling block to being successfully self-employed … that’s a key function of this site.

At present, I’m working on a number of ideas … putting dogs on the internet; fine art photography from just this side of the grave; finding the best, and most essential, websites about anything and everything … watch for Off-Leash Spot, Ginormous.net … and more … coming soon.

I may be the only person frequenting this site … but, if you aren’t me, have a look around … and please feel free to leave a comment or send an email. Of course, this site is one of those projects … and a relatively new one, at that. So … please pardon the brief period of experimentation. Pages may come and go, content may be in various stages of completedness (that really isn’t a word) … but it’ll come together pretty quickly. Right?
